Ella: The Ashes to Beauty

Children's bedtime stories

Once upon a time, there was a small kingdom ruled by a just and fair king. The kingdom was peaceful and prosperous, but the king and queen were sad because they had no children.

One day, a fairy appeared before the king and queen and granted them a wish. The king and queen wished for a child, and soon the queen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. They named her Ella.

Ella grew up to be a kind and gentle girl, loved by all who knew her. However, her father passed away and left her with her cruel stepmother and stepsisters. They treated her as a servant, making her work all day and night. Ella was always covered in ashes and soot, hence they called her Ella.

One day, the prince of the kingdom announced that he would hold a ball to find a bride. Ella's stepmother and stepsisters went to the ball, but they forbade Ella from going.

But with the help of her fairy godmother, Ella was able to attend the ball. She was the most beautiful girl there, and the prince fell in love with her at first sight. They danced the night away, but when the clock struck twelve, Ella had to leave. She left behind one glass slipper and the prince searched the kingdom to find the girl it belonged to.

Ella's stepmother and stepsisters tried to claim the glass slipper, but it was Ella who fit it perfectly. The prince recognized her and they lived happily ever after.

The End.
